Seremban Half Marathon 2009- Race day

well , another finisher medal for me there....mmmm ..

The race was on Sunday 12 2009 in Seremban, well i quite exhausted after finishing quite late in friday evening, isk geram ler jugak , nak kene settlekan paper shipping tu secepat yang mungkin kelam kabut cheq,,,,hehe anyway we did finish it at 12.00 pm tau... perrr,, anyway.. well i thought rejoicing and awarding myself for some relaxation....mmmm..so i did a last minute plan for a quick weekend getaway at my aunt's holiday apartmentat PD in Bayu Beach Resort..all by myself perr,,,anyway i enjoyed my stay there....relaxing by the sea...smelling the sea breeeze....gushing through your body while you are sleeping wow what a stress reliever .....

The Race

Before the race day,. i started wondering around Seremban town to have look at the venue for the start of the race, well i got lost , well its kind of hard to find Padang MPS, well actually it is just nearby Dataran Serembann , which i had pass through twice...hehe apo ler kau ni kan...anyway finally i found the venue...then off to my aunt's apartment in PD, well guess what i got lost again...even on the way to race the next day, i took the wrong turn on PD highway instead of going to Seremban, i went back to teluk kemang,,,apo ler aku ni...

Finally i arrived at the venue and parked my car beside Carlton Hotel, beside a man made basement lake...huhuh,,,anyway the race venue crowd started to build up minute by minute,,,i was quite ashame of myself jugak sbb sampai subuh tapi mmm... call AbgIan but baru nak gerakk katernyer,,,mm anyway i wonder around the venue,,packed with school children from around Seremban area, as normal before every race i would drank quite a lit of water, which end up me going to the lavatory more often, i saw a few familiar faces there,,,uncle and auntie we met in Bidor, Kenyan's runner and a few pacesetters members..

The race started with 21 km then after 10km women then my category 10km men senior,,,well the organizer did wonderful job in managing the crowd at the running venue as well as the route....not another series bad running yar...anyway,,, the flag off was done the YAM Tengku Naquiyudin ( Tengku Laksamana Negeri Sembilan) , he was quite supporting in jive with the counting and excitedly denoucing the countdown,,,then off we go..yet another 10 km for me'


luckily there are no like of Ipoh Internatonal Run flag off problem, the flag point above had been cordoned off for separate catogory rather than u cage them, Kudos to the organiser,

The route was along the city and pass through a housing estate, the weather seems to be on our side , all the way the it was very mild and cloudy, fantastic, very cooling, well not good for me , why ya... well i did told u in the beginning that before every run i would drank a lot of water, well i did go for one round in the morning before the race, well there another one coming just after the flag off alamak ...where could i find....i was so desperately wanted to take a leak, along the way there is a petrol pump but i cloud see from far the are already people line up...alamak...anyway i carry on running with my bladder half full....at point i could not even bear it anymore, well i want to do it with dignity yar...

the chill weather has brought the leaking problem worse,,,,anyway i still kept op running but not at my usual speed, i was holding back the shaking , well u know how it feels right...we went pass through the lake garden then back to the finish line at padang MPS...............


anyway as usual i did not stay back till the price giving ceremony, well i saw a few kenyan's women and men...i guess u know who won right...anyway i saw a few VIP run participants as well...there is YAM , Erra Fazira's husband and few others lar , i x kenal ler,,,x famous ler kot

My timing this time around was around 56 minutes,,,not very good lar i was aiming for lower than that,,,,come to think that a man running with his bladder half full, i did fairly well , heheh

Overall, the run was a fun and well organized, Kudos to the organizer, they did a very good job,n there are so many goodies available for us,,,free samples here and there... after the run, Seremban was in total traffic deadlock, per...aku sesat lagi,,,,susahnyer nak manouver around Seremban ni signboard to PD not enough ler,......

I search Abg Ian, but he is not around may be he did not make it kot.... i took swim at the sea and the pool relaxing while sipping my drinks...isk i wish my life where like this....

congrats to all the finisher and not forgetting the participants for the PD International Triathlon 09, may one day i could be one like them... i really envied them...

Ok ler , see u in the next run Siemens at Dataran Merdeka yar this Sunday....
