I had been living away from the running world for quite a while, it has been a week since i injured my knee, as a matter of fact it still is, but slightly reduced....well not good for full running yet, i mean impact activities, plus works had started piling on the table, therefore running is squeezed somewhere in the closet, duhhh,
im going to start introducing some cardio activities back this week, stationary bike may be?, well i like to take up swimming but the place and time yet to be synchro with schedule now,
i can see that i'm getting a bit fat, after weighing myself in Singapore last weekend, gulp i gained 2 kg ler...alamak ini macam berat ka..i ought to do something fast, thinking of my knee is yet to be fully recovered thus brings in the idea of less impact activities such as stationary bike, actually i'm running out of ideas ler..anyway let do just that first and see what will it do to my knee...?
another race is coming next Feb. PNM. i'm not doing marathon yar..just 20 km jer...wishing that i could run all the way,,,rugi pulak x lari heheh,
i am not knowledgeable enough to advise, but better to do a lot of stretching and strengthen the leg muscles, that you are resting. Keeps your weights off, eh
ReplyDeleterecover well, we all misses you
It's about time to re-activate your swimming. Aqua therapy works well in rehabilitation plus cold water helps to reduce the pain.
ReplyDeleterest well la bro, that what u should do. dont worry, plenty more races to join later. :)
ReplyDeletep/s: while resting, stop reading our blogs.. :P
so i guess we wont be running for KL Master Relay rite?
Bro Shaq. If u know how to swim, just hit the pool. Since I also had a knee injury, the idea of cross training now looks more relevant. Thinking of getting a bike, a second hand will do kot.....
